Hi everyone!!!
My name is Jhonatan, I´m 20 years old and I´m studying Pharmaceutical and Biological Chemistry (seventh semester).
About me, I really like reading about different topics except those about self-improvement and my favorite book is The Neverending Story of Michael Ende.
I enjoy watching movies, walking in quiet places and wake up late on weekends because all week my classes start at 7:00am.
See you soon!!!!!!!!
Hi
ReplyDeleteI also read The Neverending Story and I loved it. In fact I looked for another book of Michael Ende and I found MOMO, it is also a very good story.
Hi Jhonatan, I also dislike self-improvement books! Have you read any books by Ray Bradbury? He's a fantastic writer; both of science fiction and other types as well.
ReplyDeleteRakel: I also read MOMO, honestly I didn´t like it so much, but the time-thieves are a good representation of "the lack of time" and sometimes I think that I have some of them.
ReplyDeleteHi Shelley, yes, I read a book of Ray Bradbury, I´ve only read "Fahrenheit 451", it´s an incredible book, obviously it´s fiction but I enjoy the unreal things because that make me imagine unknown places or situations, well probably the message is real because he try to say something like "freedom of knowledge", altough I don´t know if there are other famous book of Ray Bradbury, do you know if there are other book?
ReplyDeleteI really, really enjoyed "The Martian Chronicles" and recommend it a lot. I also have a set of shorter stories written by him; if you don't have a book by Thursday then I could lend it to you to read throughout the semester. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Shelley, thank you, but as you know I decided read "The double helix" by James Watson, I was planning read this book since last vacations but I could´t do it, so this is the perfect situation to read it, maybe if "The Martian Chronicles" isn´t a large book, when I finish the first one, could you lend me your book?
